The Nike Air Force 1 Low “Alter and Reveal” is a “do-it-yourself” inspired look that brings a customizable elements to the retro basketball shoe. As its name suggests, the “Alter and Reveal” Air Force 1 Low intrigues with hidden details that are only revealed when altering the design. Both the toe and mid-panel feature a cut-away mesh construction that displays a hidden layer beneath. The rest of the shoe’s construction features different materials, including black suede on the forefoot and pebbled Gym Red leather on the quarter panel. A glossy black leather Swoosh is located on either side of the shoe and a small red Swoosh is embroidered on the lateral side of the forefoot. Classic “Nike Air” and Swoosh detailing appears on the tan suede heel tab. On the tongue, Nike replaces the Air Force 1’s original branding with a graffiti-style Air Force 1 insignia.
